Cost of replacing a toilet

Cost of replacing a toilet

Among our clients

Replacing a toilet is a common plumbing job, and its cost can vary depending on a number of factors. Here's a rundown of the factors that affect the cost and an approximate price range:

Factors affecting the cost of replacing a toilet:

  • Toilet type:
    • Standard P toilet: This is the most standard and common toilet. Replacing it is often the simplest and cheapest.
    • Monoblock toilet: A toilet with a built-in cistern may be a little more expensive to replace than a standard P-type toilet.
    • Wall-hung toilet: A wall-mounted toilet with a concealed cistern. Its replacement is the most complex and expensive, as it also includes the installation of the concealed cistern.
  • Pipeline access: If access to existing piping is complicated, this may increase the cost of the job.
  • Additional fixes: If additional repairs need to be made to the plumbing or floor during the replacement, this will add to the cost.

Approximate price range (not including the toilet itself):

  • Replacing a standard P toilet: 450-650 NIS
  • Replacing a monoblock toilet: 700-850 NIS
  • Replacing a wall-hung toilet (including installing a concealed cistern): 1,600-2,600 NIS (the wide range is due to the complexity of the installation)

Important to remember:

  • These prices are an estimate only and do not include the cost of the toilet itself.
  • It is recommended to get several quotes from qualified plumbers in your area.
  • Make sure that the quotes are detailed and cover all the work required.
